Power Point Presentation:
The paper presented during the conference sessions should be supplemented by the Power Point Presentation.
The presentation should be delivered to the Organisers of the conference by 18th May 2023.
Therefore, the Dropbox service will be made available to the authors of the papers/presentations. Following the receipt of the invitation from the conference organiser by e-mail, you should install a dedicated application on your computer and place a Power Point Presentation in it.
Technical requirements:
- presentation in the Power Point
- number of slides: 10-20
- required language: English
- advantage of photos, tables, charts and drawings over writing.
- the size of the presentation should not exceed 2GB
Ater 24.04.2023, when the detailed programme of the conference and the division of the speeches into thematic sessions has been decided, you will be informed on which day and in which place your presentation will take place. You will also receive information about the format of the projection screen in the conference chamber, in order to adjust the width and format of your presentation to best suit it (for example, in the „Długosz Chamber” the presentations will be projected on a widescreen).
Until 18.05.2023 Presentations saved in Dropbox will still be able to be changed or added to. Changes should only be made to the file provided in the Dropbox, but no later than 18.05.2023.
After 18.05.2023, all presentations will be archived on the computer to be used during the proceedings. Prior to the conference, all presentations will be tested by designated staff at the venue.
We hope that the procedure described will allow us to minimise the risk of technical problems during the presentations.
PRESENTATION DURING THE CONFERENCE:
The language of the presentation can be Polish, English and Spanish. Simultaneous translation from and into these languages will be provided by the organiser.
In order to guarantee good communication during the proceedings, the question of the language of the presentation will be decided individually with each speaker.
The plenary presentation should not exceed 20 minutes.
Speakers will be provided with a lectern for notes, a microphone and a remote control with an indicator.
Speakers will be able to move the slides themselves with the remote control or ask someone at the computer to do so to ensure the smooth presentation of the papers.
The possibility of uploading new presentations to the computer just before the session is possible only in exceptional cases.
At the end of each thematic session, a 15-minute discussion is foreseen, led by the session moderator. The moderators of the discussion will be members of the Scientific Committee. The presenter during the discussion may be asked to answer questions from the audience.
